Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is developing plans to strengthen the transmission system in northeastern Indiana. The proposed improvements in Jay County would increase reliability, lessen power outages, and speed recovery of service when outages occur.
I&M will build the line with steel monopole structures averaging 90-120 ft. Structures will be placed within a 100-foot right-of-way. I&M is committed to meeting the energy needs of customers while protecting the environment and natural beauty of the region.
* Exact structure, height and right-of-way may vary
