Fort Robinson - HillTransmission Line Rebuild Project


The Fort Robinson-Hill Transmission Line Rebuild Project involves upgrading approximately 14 miles of 69-kilovolt (kV) transmission line and two substations in Scott County, Virginia and Sullivan County, Tennessee.

Construction begins in fall 2022 and concludes by fall 2024.

11/05/2021: Appalachian Power invites community members and landowners in the project area to learn more at an upcoming open house.
