This project will include the rebuild and modernization of the Glebe Substation, construction of a new underground 230 kilovolt electric transmission line to replace the existing overhead line between the Glebe Substation and Potomac Yard Transition Station, and the decommissioning of the Potomac Yard Transition Station and existing overhead transmission line. The completion of this project will allow Dominion Energy to continue providing safe, reliable electric service to our customers.
